We have had a fantastic year for Bluebells

This is the time of year for Bluebells. All around us in the fells and under the trees in the woods, we have had the most glorious bluebells. With the weather being so wet, it must have created the perfect environment for the bluebells and they have popped up everywhere and have given us the most glorious display all over the sides of the fells and in the Grizedale forest under and around trees everywhere. Bluebells can sit dormant in the ground for years until conditions are right for them. With the warm beginning to April and then the really wet conditions we must have created the perfect environment for bluebells.
We have also had horrendous blustery winds - and even though there is absolutely nothing nice about them, the winds have been carrying the bluebells sweet scent, in drifts around us just as they appear in drifts in their natural surroundings.
Great Britain holds claim to have 70 percent of the worlds bluebells growing in it and this year they really have come out in carpets.
We print many images of bluebells in the various print methods that we use. We have prints of bluebells made into postcards greetings cards, giclee prints, fine art reproductions. I invite you to share your pictures of this years bluebells. Use one of our print processes to remember this years bluebells with.
